Thirsting for More…

Are you parched? Does life feel exhausting or hopeless? Does change feel out of reach? We all experience the effects of brokenness in our world. Situations in life bring suffering and confusion. The choices of others impact us in hurtful ways, and our own weakness and failures can be overwhelming. There is hope and grace as God offers to meet us in these desert places. He brings healing, forgiveness, joy, and He shows us new paths. He uses many things to bring restoration; one is the unique setting of counseling.

As a counselor, my role is to hear and understand your struggle and to help you get to a new place of growth.  The foundation of my life and counseling practice is the good news of who God is and what He has done for us. God made a beautiful world with humans meant for intimacy with Him and each other. Our world was broken as humans looked elsewhere to quench thirst which brought damage and pain. God has provided hope, rescue, and healing through Christ. He provides streams in the desert, but often we need help getting there. There are barriers and pain, and we feel stuck. Counseling is a context for healing to happen over time as you process and make changes in your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, actions, and desires. I would love to provide a safe space for you to wrestle with pain, questions, anxiety, strongholds, conflicts, grief, or anger.

The scorched land will become a pool and the thirsty ground springs of water… Isaiah 35:7
